We hold your email and display name, the work you do in the product (sessions, messages, recall cards, explain-backs, scores), and technical details like IP and browser — the last of those for security and rate-limiting, not for building a profile of you.
Your work is never used to train, fine-tune or evaluate any model, ours or anyone else’s, and Anthropic does not train on API traffic. One honest caveat: we do not hold a zero-retention agreement with Anthropic, so your inputs and the tutor’s outputs may sit with them for a limited period for trust-and-safety purposes under their standard terms.
It is shared only with the vendors on the subprocessors list, each under contract. You can export or delete everything at any time, from Settings or by email.

Sharing
We share your data with the vendors listed on our subprocessors page — Anthropic, Stripe, Vercel, Supabase, and a small number of others. Each vendor is contractually bound to appropriate data-handling practices.
No training on your data
We do not use your content to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any AI model — ours or anyone else’s — and Anthropic does not train on data submitted through its API. We do not hold a zero-retention agreement with Anthropic, so inputs and outputs may be retained by them for a limited period for trust-and-safety purposes under their standard commercial terms.
Your choices
You can request an export or deletion of your data at any time. Contact privacy@brainback.chat.
Children under 13
Brainback is not directed at children under 13 in the United States, or under the applicable age in other jurisdictions. If you are a parent and believe your child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will notify you materially in advance of any changes to this policy that affect your rights.
